South Mountain Park
This large project had all of the services as notated. The customer was the City of Phoenix. Multiple types of material were used as different areas required a separate solution for best results.
This municipal project for the City of Phoenix combined several pavement services across a high-traffic park area, including roadway resurfacing and paved walkways. Due to the varied use and terrain across South Mountain Park, we implemented a combination of asphalt paving, patching, sealcoating, and milling, along with precision parking lot striping to support both pedestrian and vehicle access.
Each section of the park presented different surface conditions, requiring us to adjust materials and methods for long-term durability. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, we matched the right solution to each section — from structural milling in high-stress zones to sealcoating and crack sealing in lighter-use areas — ensuring the finished result performed to the City’s expectations.
