El Prado Park

The City of Phoenix selected Valor Pavement to rehabilitate the parking lot at El Prado Park, one of the city’s well-trafficked public recreation facilities. After years of Arizona heat exposure and steady daily use, the existing asphalt surface had reached the end of its service life. Our crew started with asphalt milling to strip the deteriorated surface layer and establish a clean, level base for new pavement. We followed with precision grading and fresh asphalt paving, compacting with steel-drum rollers to build a dense, durable surface engineered for the park’s high visitor volume. To finish the project, we applied full parking lot striping — standard stalls, ADA-compliant handicap spaces with access aisles, and fire lane markings. The lot was completed on schedule and reopened to the public within days.
